Established in 2018 by the Annenberg Foundation and the Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, PledgeLA is a coalition of hundreds of Los Angeles-based venture capital firms working to make L.A. a global tech hub that reflects the region’s innovation and talent. Offering venture capital fellowships and GP-LP matchmaking, PledgeLA helps connect talent, opportunity, and capital in Greater Los Angeles. Learn More

We helped stand-up one of the country’s few county-level offices focused on promoting and sustaining food security – the LA County Office of Food Systems, launched in 2025. LACOFS is the result of robust pandemic-era proactivity and partnership, co-chaired by the Annenberg Foundation, civic and philanthropic leaders. Learn More

Rising above the 110 and 105 freeways in Los Angeles, Isla Intersections opened in 2024 and provides permanent supportive housing to 54 residents and families. The Annenberg Foundation provided capital funding to develop Isla, an award-winning development that offers a vibrant rooftop community food garden and public greenspace, the Annenberg Paseo, with features that minimize noise, air and light pollution.
