FEAST (formerly Groceryships), was established in 2013 and offers a comprehensive program of nutrition education and emotional support to empower underserved families to increase health. The program includes weekly nutritional classes with cooking demonstrations, food scholarships for families to purchase groceries, and a support group for participants to share their current eating habits with support to overcome obstacles on their wellness journey. On Thursday, October 24, FEAST will host its annual fall fundraiser, A Feast for FEAST, at CRAFT LA, featuring signature dishes from celebrity chefs. Proceeds from the event will bring Food Education, Access, and Support, Together to over 1,500 Angelenos in 2020, providing families with the key ingredients to live healthy and nourishing lives.
