USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Today represents an indelible milestone for the Annenberg legacy, marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Annenberg School for Communications and Journalism at the University of Southern California. This institution, its educators, and its students – past and present – represent the ideals of the Annenberg Foundation and its emphasis on the importance of communications in addressing our most pressing challenges. Fifty years ago, on March 4, 1971, the Annenberg School was established at the University of Southern California. To mark this milestone, USC Life Trustee Wallis Annenberg as well as former deans Peter Clarke, Geoffrey Cowan and Ernest J. Wilson III join Dean Willow Bay in this video commemorating the school’s remarkable history.
